Dr. Staheli le ads a team of researchers in the molecular virology and immune defense research laboratory at the University of Freiburg in Germany, where he is also on the faculty as a full professor. He received his diploma and Ph.D. degrees in microbiology and biochemistry from the ETH in Zurich, Switzerland.
Postdoctoral training was at the University of Zurich in the Institutes of Medical Virology (Dr. Otto Haller and Dr Jean Lindenmann) and Molecular Biology (Dr. Charles Weissmann), and at the Scripps Research Foundation, La Jolla, in the Molecular Biology Department (Dr. Greg Sutcliffe).
Dr. Rathinam received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Madras Veterinary College, India and PhD from Michigan State University in 2009.
Dr. Sonnenberg completed his doctoral research training at the University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine in 2011, focusing on mucosal immunology.
